Factory reset YL20C/YL80C EP 2 PRO ENGWE

Hi I have bought an engwe ep 2 Pro electric bike and it has a yolin

controller on it but I cannot factory reset it with -/i buttons, it just flashes. The DEf screen doesn't come up. My controller goes from 01p to 019p and I would like to know what all the programs are for. My manual is for the YL80C but here's a picture of my controller numbers.

I would like to factory reset or put the programs on the right settings if possible.

Would also be interested in the Manual/Programs explanations since the YL80C does not apply 1:1, on that one there were 2 different menus and every menu entry had some kind of letters to explain what it did. This one has p1 to p19 like mentioned above, and some just have the option to select from 00 to some numbers that are not clear what it could be.

That is unfortunate this happens, hopefully we have someone or a couple people that have experience with the Yolin displays and controllers.

Funny enough I'm sat here with the same problem. Various settings only have 0, 1 or 2 values with no clue as to what they are. The closest I've got is from this YT vid but it doesn't explain it all.

So, this is obviously a European problem. Displays are made in batches for different controllers, that are in different bikes, by all sorts of different manufacturers. In each case, it helps to know the make and model of the bike to try and track down the varying parameters. Things can also be changed up, due to the UK and EU having stricter ebike laws than other places. Let us know what your ebike model is and we can see what we can hunt down.
