Ok I think I got this. Just do a quick short press of the "i" button. Then see If Dsp-y or Dsp-n shows on screen.

Can you explain to me what you are trying to do? Are you trying to exit the screen? Save settings? Or etc etc. Thanks.

Ok long press the +/- at the same time for more than 2 seconds while on the 1212 screen. Then a dsp-y or dsp-n should show on screen. Or a def-y or def-n should show on the the screen.

I'm all new to this ebike stuff, so bear with me a bit. I know it's all about correct order of procedures. I was positive if on the 1212 screen & you short press the "i" it would let you into the system.

Can you get to the 10P setting on your display. It's for the password settings I believe. To activate/deactivate the password.

So on P19 screen if you long press the "i" button does your screen then go to the main menu screen? Or can you short press the "i" button & return to the main menu screen?
