Would the Flyer kid cargo carrier fit on a lectric 3.0XP ?

So I have a special needs child that is to tall for the yepp maxi seat and as far as the passenger kit. I’m afraid he’d get excited and let go resulting in something disastrous. I know the rear rack on the 3.0 is shorter than on Flyers e-bikes but is there some sort of miracle that I may be able to make it work ?

How tall is the child?
Can the child operate a trike that involves little to no balancing, low speed and manage a throttle?

My wife is 4' 11", my in-laws even shorter, have mobility, balancing issues from stroke & Parkinson's separately.
Recently, I've bought a Lectric XP Trike for them to try. I modified the XP Trike with lower seat, shorter cranks so the in-laws can operate it with ease.
