Further down in the forum, I posted about Honda and Yamaha's plans. They have nothing planned for the US, except tentatively.
I'm sure they will do a good job and make sure they comply with laws when they DO finally come here, but the question is whether it will be too late? They have let the Chinese and even American companies gain a foothold while they sit back and watch.

When they DO finally start offering something, they will be priced so high compared to the established brands that they will immediately fail and be withdrawn.

...or am I totally off-base? Will their quality be so trusted that folks are willing to pay the big bucks for them?
