I am looking to get a Specialized Creo Expert. I was wondering what size people are riding for what size they are. I am 6' 0" and currently riding a 10 year old Specialized Roubaix size 58. The bike shop says a large is my size and XL would be to big. They did not have any in stock to test ride.

Hi
I’m 5’10” and ride a Creo sl comp size L
You can still get a good deal on XL size Creo in some bike shops, and I would say at 6’ it would not be too big… the frames are quite compact anyway

(Old post reply- Just Joined) Hi, I am 6' 2" and ride a Creo XL. I have a Creo 2 on the way (supposedly) and if you look at the Creo 2, they give frame size as 58 for that size now. I would not go smaller myself, sometimes wonder if the XXL would be better for me cause of large inseam 36"

Hi
It will be an expensive mistake if you get it wrong!… suggest you take other measurements for reach etc. then check with your supplier…
Am I correct in thinking that the Creo 2 is more adventure/gravel oriented? I don’t think it would look’ wrong for you, with your height, it’s just if you’re going to feel too stretched out. There are obviously adjustments that can be made to saddle fore/aft/height but I think pro’s usually go for the smallest frame they can get away with in order to save a bit of weight… finally I would compare your existing bike measurements specs with the new one on order… hope this helps but mainly, enjoy your new bike!
