Spare Battery

Hi, All I currently have a 24v/7amp battery. I'm looking for a spare so that can travel further distance. Would it be ok to buy a battery that has a 10amp rating?

Is your battery spec 7 A or 7 Ah? If it’s 7 Ah, and the new battery is 10 Ah, then the new battery should be fine, and its higher capacity should deliver ~42% longer range.

Hi, Sorry to bother everyone again, but having looked into the matter further. I have a further question. Would I be able to fit a 36v battery to the bike?

If the controller is rated for 36v, it should be fine, if not you can risk it, but it is not recommended. Most 24v controllers can accept up to 36v

mmm, I'm new to the world of EB's. Controller? Where would I find this and how would I check that its rated for 36v please?

It is the box that the motor wires run to. It should have a sticker with the rated voltage.
