Hi everyone,I’m building a 5000w ebike conversion that has a 80amp controller.I’m building a 20s8p battery pack with molicel 21700 42p 4200ma battery. I’m building it in a square pattern, will .15 x 10mm pure nickel strip be ok? Thank you for any advice

Sounds about right. Just make sure your spot welder will do it and you'll have no problems :)

Be Careful!!

I will double down on HumanPerson's comment. 0.15 inch is over an eighth of an inch thick. The endcaps on your battery are less than 1/16th inch thick. So spot welding heavier metal to lighter metal can be a challenge. It may involve using successive layer of thinner material spot welded to the layer underneath.
