My bike gets me social.

A lot of people come up to me and ask me about my bike. I get to talk to a lot more people. This couple asked me, can my bike really do 100 miles ? etc. They asked me how much in power does it cost to run a day, I said around 15 pence approx. I know I have influenced a few people into ebiking. The main thing here is that it makes me more social.

I am not a social person at all, but I have experienced that same thing. People are curious.
I always get asked about speed and range...which elicits "that depends on", which leads to more questions, etc.
