JASIONBIKE - BIGGEST POS COMPANY IN THE WORLD. (Read all to save yourself a lot of money and angst)

In mid December ordered two hunters with a 5-7 day shipping time. Two days later was notified that the updated delivery time was end of February- so I cancelled the order. Was offered $15 then $30 and a lock to not cancel, but chose to cancel. It is now April 9, 2024, and having notified my credit card company back in January, and cancelled the transaction- I am still waiting for Jasonbikes to authorize the refund of $2045.00

I have 3 months of emails to their supposed customer service department (wanna good laugh- try calling them) and still no action. Excuse after petty excuse- ("our secretary has been out sick")

So, I have contacted my attorney, written a letter of demand for funds, interest and damages- have opened a small claims case in my home state and am pursuing a class action suit against Jasonbike, meanwhile my bank and credit card company have opened a fraud case and are actively pursuing Jasonbike.

We've all heard the expression- "Experience is the best teacher-" that's wrong..."someone else's experience is the best teacher." So I offer up my continued struggle with hopes that you will spend your hard earned money on a company that actually gives a s**t about their product and how they treat customers. I am 70 years old, retired and am continually amazed by the audacity of companies like Jasonbike.

I would agree, it is best to learn vicariously through the experiences of others.
So far, my luck on online ordering of eBikes has been 3 winners and no losers.
However, one is on order right now, and slated for delivery mid may.
I sure hope the winning streak continues.

I love my x hunters. Ordered 2 one for my wife and I. Mine took two weeks hers took 4 weeks.

Wow, you're throwing the book at them!

I think your credit card company will back you up, especially since you've probably provided them with the email chain. (maybe it's better that they didn't answer the phone...)

I do question whether the rest of the stuff (bolded above) is worth your time, money and effort...

have a jaison 48 26" stepthru, like it except for the pedal assist it has 3 levels and i cannot change them i run in pas 1 mostly and its way to powerful, was surprised by the torque of that bike though, the rear lights are nice but the bike was not worth the cost, time will tell have a new seat and suspension seat post the high bar ancheer i gave to my daughters beau was a lot more stable on the rocky semi road trail(27.5x2.10 vs 26x1.95 jaison) maybe i just need to find some place different to ride allso the ancheer is not as powerful as the 7x11 48 volt motor on the jaison. next bike is either going to be a bike shop(aventon or major brand) i am hoping lectric will come out with a reverese trike. you should be able to get a "chargeback" on your bikes.

I can report that they are still doing this as of June 2024. They state 3-5 days shipping then tell you it won't ship for weeks. I waited patiently for a month for my 2 bike combo deal and was super excited when the package came today. Only the order was short 1 bike. Called them and they told me they were out of the color. Of course that was never communicated and I would have definitely changed colors. So I asked ok send me an in stock color to which they said no problem, you'll get it in another month. I am 2 days before the 30 day fraud period with PayPal so I went ahead and opened a claim. On a good note if you don't mind paying double for one bike it seems to be made pretty solid.

when a company discounts to this extent, seems they were charging a bit too much to begin with.

I so wish I would’ve seen this a few weeks ago!
I ordered the Ebike combo X-hunter 1 grey and 1 blue on 7/23/24. Received shipping confirmation for 2 bikes on 7/24.

On 7/30/24, I received 1 bike not 2. My order confirmation email and my shipment confirmation email both say that I ordered 2 bikes and that 2 were on the way. No information given whatsoever regarding the second bike when I received an email my order was delivered even though only half of the order was received. And the manual that was sent with the one bike that came was for not only the wrong model, but the wrong brand of bike.

The 1 bike that did arrive out of the 2 I ordered has a broken wheel reflector, the front axle quick release pin is missing so the wheel cannot attach.
When I called the 888 number, I spoke to someone that was not very helpful. He said the blue bike is out of stock and it may be available in a few months. Did not have an answer as to why I was allowed to order an out of stock item and received wrong information about 2 bikes being confirmed and on the way; nothing about out-of-stock. He also admitted he was limited on what he could do; he could not get a supervisor, send replacement parts, send return label, etc…He said he works alone at home and that the only mechanism is to send an email.
His solution for missing part was for me to order a part on Amazon which I can’t get for a month. And then get reimbursed??? Ya right. He actually sent me the Amazon link for this part which would indicate this may happen often.
I sent picture of broken reflector which in a subsequent email as instructed by guy on the phone which they later said via email they couldn’t find.
I was also asked in one of these emails to send a picture of the missing part. ??? I replied asking how to send a picture of something I don’t have.

Not only do I not want the defective item that was sent to me which was half my order. I do not want the other half of my order (the second bike). I’m attempting to return the first defective bike that arrived but still waiting for a pre-paid shipping label. And I have been attempting to cancel second bike. I finally received confirmation in email sent before dawn this morning that the order for second bike was frozen??
Many emails have gone back-and-forth over several days with offers from them of giving a $30 refund then an offer of $80 to keep. I have sent detailed information and pictures. I get a response in the middle of the night (I’m on west coast) which would lead me to believe company is actually overseas.

After this very terrible, frustrating experience, I am unfortunately finding Reddit discussions and reviews of similar terrible experiences. I filed a dispute with my credit card company for this charge and I’m also contacting my state attorney generals office to file a consumer complaint.
There should be a class action suit to stop the owners of this company from scamming more customers. I also read online because they are the same owners of HeyBike.

I hear you,you are like the rest of us,limited income wish to save money-OTH as has been expressed here(beginning to see the wisdom in this) buy from a reputable bike shop, then you have recourse.Has a Jaison I finally gave away( nothing wrong with it) it was just to heavy could never find out the weight of it,was looking for a light weight bike-"Caveat Emptor" a lot of these internet cookie cutter bikes are going to have limited support if any, while the company goes into that long night had an NCM( they are gone now) so they come and go,grit your teeth and buy from a shop, you will be glad you did.
