Err whilst you may/may not be able to why can't you "carry" a spare like many do

You would have to have a mixer.
Better to just have one as a spare and keep it simple. (Unless your bike was designed for two)

It's a common question. What do you wish to get by doing this?
Range anxiety is both mental and measurable. I'm not saying I don't get it as well.
I pedal hard on the way out and whomp the throttle on the way home. Ha ha

In my case, it is not range anxiety, but the desire to cover more distance in a day in a very hilly place that drains the batteries very quickly, halving the declared range of my ebike (120 km).

Thanks for the hint. I wonder which is the actual efficiency of those mixer. I guess is above 90% but would like to know the number, not just "see" them.
