When the capacity or voltage of a single battery is not uniform, the active balancing system will transfer the power of the high-capacity battery to the low-capacity battery. In order to achieve effective and complete discharge of the entire battery.
In the past, when the performance of one battery in the battery decreased, the performance of the entire battery would decrease, and the high-capacity battery would not be able to be effectively released.

So how do you actively balance the battery pack?

This issue I have with most e-bike battery chargers is they don't provide any information about the individual cells in the battery pack. I believe there is one charger available out of Canada that does provide info but it costs $300.00 USD.

In the electric RC Model world most of the charges provide cell voltage info and balance charging info on a display. Problem is those chargers don't have the voltage/amperage out put to charge e-bike battery packs. Wish some one over there in China that designs these chargers would come up with an affordable charger to give the user more control on the charging process.
