Throttle usage

Do I use full throttle, all the time or do I just very 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full back and forth.
I peddle some in PSA, but not much
will it hurt the trike to ride 15 or so miles at full throttle
motor is 500 W normal and 750 peak, is it 750 wide open all th time

My best guess is that it would hurt the battery more than the motor to run wide open all the time. Just a guess though. Someone more knowledgeable regarding batteries and motors may chime in with better information. I would think varying the throttle input and using some pedal assist would be better for the battery and motor though.
