I have a freesky Himalaya and until recently their customer service use to be great now. Terrible....
It has a Bafang 750w rear hub motor and this pictured controller. A couple months ago I geared up and the bike wouldn't power on. I did a bunch of testing on my Dad's matching bike and it turns out my display went bad. Now I can order a replacement display for $160 from freesky but with the terrible service and the fact everything is seeming proprietary I am wondering if I should just replace the controller ans display. My current display is a 6 pin connector and I purchased 3 different displays hoping that one of them would have been speaking the same language with no luck. I hate the idea if giving them more money and having 0 ability to change it out in the future.
Your advice appreciated.
