diy cargo bike?

I'm toying with the idea of building an e cargo bike - plans from here -

Anyone done anything same or similar?

Yes it's entirely possible. Lots of options like motor type (Mid-drive vs. hub), battery size and location, PAS or torque sensing, display, and throttle options also.
