Are 18650 cells affected by neodymium magnets?

So I am building a magnetic modular battery case that uses magnets to attach parts together and I was wondering if the magnetic fields of the neodymium magnets
would mess up the 18650 cells in any sort of way? Also, would it affect the BMS? thanks -bob

No, problem, it's been done. You can pass current thru them, as well.

Good results seemed to be had with copper mesh "solder wick" used as a flexible conductor.
