14-28 vs 14-34 freewheel

On my Bee Cool Adventurer, if I change the 7 speed freewheel from a 14-28 to a 14-34, do I have to change the chain to a longer chain? Does the derailer need to be readjusted? Russ

Most likely you won't need a longer chain.
Shifting adjustment is likely needed.

Most medium derailleurs handle 12-34 gears but you may need a longer chain. It will be obvious after you put on the larger cassette and can see if there is any slack in the chain.

Is the shifting adjustment something a knob can do or do I have to take it to a bike shop?

Have proper tools, and bicycle mechanics isn't very complicated.
