having had the discovery 1 for about 8 months here are some notes about quality:
the front fork is a piece of junk, does not even have damping
the bottom bracket bearing is of poor quality
The rear brake just went, not assembled correctly and it does not take a standard shoe-the opening was machined a 1/,32 too small.
I've already posted about the controller.
When I'm done I will have replaced everything but the frame and wheels.
