Just bought my first evike hopefully my last. It is a Burchda RX80 It went together fast. I have yet to ride the bike even though I've had it almost a week. Trying to get all the accessories on. So that I can make sure I don't look like a complete idiot.
Now after saying that I believe this question will totally answer that last statement. It comes with the key which is what unlock the battery. But the bike stays powered on. Even though the he is not in it. Does the key do anything other than release the battery from its compartment?

On some ebikes, that's all the key does, it just locks the battery to the cradle.
