Motor clicking

My e-bike has been great but the motor we installed is clicking when accelerating & not peddling ? Intermittent clicking. Sending Pics of the motor also ??? Any idea what's going on & how to fix ?

Its that long, blue component impinging on the short green one. That particular model of ebike conversion kit is especially prone to this.
