I've heard mixed reactions from owners of Liitokala packs. I already wouldn't use them, but this puts them way over into "hell no!" territory.

Interestingly I have heard differing arguments from discount battery vendors as to why you don't need balancing. It boils down to finding excuses to justify to the consumer why you don't need that instead of coming clean and acknowledging they went lowest-cost.
