When I bought my Trek Powerfly the seller installed a screw holding the Kiox display to the stand, telling me that "with vibration it can come off". However, this way I can't easily use the Lock feature as an anti-theft device.

Ever happened to some of you to lose the Kiox, maybe off-road, due to vibrations?

can't ya use blue loc-tite and NOT torque the little display with force ?
They do not have to be tightened sown like a mofo...just a bit and some blue loc-tite :)

If I use glue it would be even more difficult to remove it from the handlebar when I leave it on a public space.

I wonder if there would be some sort of rubber strap/band that would work for your scenario..

the kiox is held by a magnet (and a clip), right, I forgot to specify that.

I am just worried that if I loose the display while downhill, for example, do to the vibrations, I could be unable to get back home and would cost me some money to buy a new one...

That's why I asked other guys if this ever happened to them and if they use the screw or not.
