I'm diggin that. I would be more likely to by an e-bike than a kit if it becomes law.
I just heard two days ago that the bill says maximum $900 credit. And folks don't forget to get that the taxpayers are going to have to pay $1.5 trillion in giveaway social programs that have nothing to do with infrastructure. That's on top of the $1.5 trillion bill that was just passed him he's going to Biden for signature. I'd like to get the $900.00 but do not want to see 1.5 trillion more debt to get it. Besides you only get up to 30% of that you paid up to $900.00 In my case I would get $434.

What this means is the cost of ebikes will go up. Everything does as a result of government subsidies.
Biden was forced to put add-ons to get the support of the Republicans and their billionaire backers. This is done all the time and why we spend $1 trillion each year on the weapons companies and our socialist military (free board and clothing and medical care and education and training and transportation).

Exactly. I’d much rather have some fiscal respomsibility, than get a few hundred vote buying dollars for a new ebike purchase. I build mine anyway and rarely put over a grand in the conversion. He could refund 30% of the price of a horse too. They don’t even need electricity. But of course there’s flatulence to consider..

I hope that when I am 80, I will be able to both golf and ride a bike. Also hope there'll be a third political party, but perhaps that is asking too much.
