As the post title implies, I'm a bit of an Absent Minded Professor type. Please take that into consideration if I flake on something.

I built my first e-bike in 2014, it's now dead so I'm shopping once more and have decided to buy a pre-made this time. I hope to pick many minds and learn much.

I aslo started converting bicycles to ebike back in 2013-2014-ish, good number of them converted friends' bicycles to ebikes.
With the availability of ebikes on teh market, the cost of a complete ebike is much cheaper and less effort than converting a bicycle into ebike.
Depending on your usage & budget, likely you can find an ebike that suits your needs.
