Sw900 display current amp limit

Hi there, my names Simon, I have a 60v 72v 2000w kit with 45a controller, I can't understand why it's only peaking at 1200 watts an not 2700watts, then realised display sw900 is limited to 20amps does this mean controller will only put out 20amp meaning 20a × 60 =1200watts, can someone explain this to me please, I paid more money for the 45a controller an 60v 72v motor to get that extra power but because display has 20a limit I'm only getting nearly 50% power, I,d appreciate it if I can get some advice regarding this please

So with the SW900 have you tried to put the speed limiting setting P08 to 100?
Then try to set P14 to 50. Please post back here after you try that and let us know how it went.

Also the UKC1 Ebike Display is really good with your controller.
Here is a vid for the settings and advanced parameters, watch it and see if you spot the differences.

Hi thanks for your reply, yes I have speed limit at 100 but the p14 for amp limit only goes to 20a so am I getting 20a×60v=1200watts? Instead of 45a×60v=2700 if that correct?

Yes, correct.

That's pretty wild, all the SW900 displays i've used go up to 50a for P14.
You must have a newr model SW900.

Yes I know, but it's a colour display I can't find anything online that looks like it apart from the frame of it is a sw900 but the dial looks similar to car speedo if you get me? Weird, I thought originally a mistake was made at factory because looking at display when it turns on looks nothing like an sw900 display, I will post a picture whenever I get home again

Yes, correct.

I'm having problems with error 08 code, motor just cut off 1 day an won't move now, I replaced throttle an 1t4 cables an it's still there, the company I bought kit from are sending me a new controller but I do t think that's what's wrong what do you think?
