Good evening to all!
As I am interested in this particular mid drive e-bike located in Greece and costs ONLY 500€ (this one: https://www.skroutz.gr/s/53414485/Kelepoyri-27-5-Mayro-Ilektriko-Podilato-Polis-me-9-Tachytites.html) , it would be nice if you could tell me more information and opinions about this ebike.

From the search I made, I found that the particular model is from the Turkish company RKS (the model GF25) (https://www.rksmotor.eu/model/gf25.html), but as a manufacturing company it is Yadea (the model YT500 ) (https://bikeera.com/shop/yadea-yt500-touring-e-bike/)
The bike for its features should cost more than €1,000-1,200. I spoke to the store that sells it for €500 and they also informed me about the warranty it has and all the features that were indeed verified to me.

Now, why is it €500, all I could find is that the bike is built in 2021 and maybe the Turkish dealership, or even Yadea itself, had a lot of parts in stock and is trying to "sell" them fast.

Tell me your opinions.

Thank you!

Battery is very small. You will not go far or fast.
I agree, but people that using it, they say that they've done 20km and the battery still had 3 leds, which with their calculation it goes up to 60km. I really don't know what to believe...

Obviously I think the negative thing of this bike is the battery, but it looks like it does what it promises.

Translation:

I got the same bike 10 days ago from b2b to 580 with transport.Very good construction and in a test on the mountain it is very good. Its battery should last about 50-60 km, I still did not empty it.For use in the city it is very good. For the mountain you have to immediately change the fork and of course take out wings and grill.I put a rockshox judy on it and it goes much better. The house of bikes has it in EUR 1600.

I'm with Hoggdoc here. Even if the battery pack was at the right voltage level, it has now been sitting for 3 years without being used. They start to lose capacity after half a year of not being cycled.

As part of the cost of purchase, plan on the cost of a new battery, in case the included one is bad.

It looks like a nice bike overall. The 25 kph top speed and 250 W motor will not be an issue for you in that part of the world, as 250 W is the power limit for the motor and 25 kph is your speed limit for eBikes I believe. It should work fine.

I bought mine today 21/09/2024.,directl;y from a warehouse in Patras for 470€....
I also had my doubts about a bike at such a silly low price but all were dispelled from the very first ride. So.I return home.charged for about 2 hours (not fully charged) and go for my first ride...Whoooow! this bike is a puller!!! I put about 20km and battery still on 5 bars The bike is stable, and a solid build, I barely used the third assist mode because in 2 it was capable of climbing all the hills I found ahead My. The front fork is a little "somehow" rubbery in feel but for an electric bike under 500 euros it does its job.

So....It seems very rigid construction, I make a check to all screws before and after ride and nothing comes loose or rattles.Brakes are so-so but must bed in for a 100km to have an opinion-no problem stopping tho-.Sunday morning is my second day on it,and I'll come back with more info.
