Would you get an ebike tattoo?

Ironically, not having a tattoo shows individuality in a time when so many have them. I have had a tattoo on my left arm for more than fifty years, and I have regretted it for more than fifty years, so my short answer is no, I would not get an ebike tattoo.

No, but it's a fun idea.
I wish they had semi-permanent tatoos. They would fade away after a year or so.
I would buy a big pack of temporary eBike tatoos though! Wear them at special events and they would peel off or whatever after a few days.

I’ve seen some tattoos that just didn’t weather well, dunno maybe it was the body they were attached to. Either way don’t have any and not starting to add one. That said I’ve seen some pretty neat tattoos especially on the ladies, maybe they just have more imagination.

I don't hear this sentiment often, but I am with you. People with all their tattoos go on and on on how it "expresses them" and so on. I can express myself in so many other ways without permanently putting something on my skin that I may not feel the same about day to day, and especially over the years. Clothes can do a fairly good job of daily expression. and the decor of your home and so many other things. Before the ebike era, my husband and I rode a Harley and as you can imagine, tattoos were a big thing among our friends. I don't hold it against anyone that chooses to get them, as many people I love have them, but it is not for me. Most of our motorcycle friends thought we were "chicken" or a afraid of the pain of getting a tattoo. I used to like gettng fake ones from time to time or airbrush tattoos. People would be so sure they were real, but I loved the fact I knew it would soon be gone.

I've thought about a tat on the lower part of my right leg that would permanently replicate the teeth marks from a greasy chain. :ROFLMAO:

I have some scars from my young and wild MTB days, does that count?
A scar is something REAL you went through in life; a tattoo is something you paid someone to put on your body. I respect scars, as they are real life experiences. I got a few scars, from being stabbed, surviving a motorcycle wreck, football injury, sword-fighting injury, dog mauling, etc.

One might reasonably question my risk management strategies.

I guess I am glad I put enough thought into all four of my tattoos before I got them that I don't regret any of them, or feel differently about the messages they convey. I also had them put high up on my shoulder and chest, and I don't wear wife-beater tees, so most people have no idea they are there which is fine with me.

EDIT: I take that back the 49ers shield on my left arm is low enough to be visible if I roll my sleeve up a little which I did when I was at a game @ Candlestick, where having the home team on your arm got you a whole lot of cred just showing up. If I was at a game in Dallas a whole different set of rules applied.

A close friend of mine was an 18-year-old swabbie who got a big Navy eagle on his arm while dead drunk in Subic Bay, and I know he's not thrilled with that life choice (but given where he got the tat he's happy to still be alive).
