Which controller? Please!

Hi. Please help a newbie.

I have a 250w bafang g020 rear motor already built wheel.

I don’t know which controller to get…

I want pedal assist and in the future I want to hot rod the motor to double the power.

If I just want to use the 250w as it is now, do I just buy any 36v controller, any lcd screen and any pedal assist?

How will I know if everything is compatible? I can’t find any kits.
