Could be, a lot of states let you register a bike like this as a moped for riding on the streets but I don't know about NV but that would limit you from trail use probably. Here's an interesting youtube that is from CA it's about this guys e-bike build and he talks about range and also legality of his bike in CA. Pretty interesting because it is also about the rail adaptor he built to ride on unused railroad tracks.I agree, but from my quick read of the NV law, it is a blanket ban on anything above Class 2, not that it is allowed on the street but not on a bike path. I could be wrong.

It seems that lots of people are dead set against any kind of registration on an e-bike but I personally am not against it for powerful and fast e-bikes like the Delfast or Stealth Bombers
