Not trying to be an a$$ but maybe a Honda Trail 125 would be better suited to your needs.
Some of us, speaking only for myself just do NOT want to hear the noise anymore! I worked with noise all my life and raised two daughters as a single father. The very best thing about E-bikes in my opinion is the silence! Of course they have many other wonderful attributes. Not trying to be an a$$ but maybe a Honda Trail 125 would be better suited to your needs.
Very good answer. Some of us, speaking only for myself just do NOT want to hear the noise anymore! I worked with noise all my life and raised two daughters as a single father. The very best thing about E-bikes in my opinion is the silence! Of course they have many other wonderful attributes.
I've known people to wait for months for Specialized parts and then the work had to be done at the dealer. Given our current import situation, try
specialized "Vado" pricey OTH I hear well worth it. You are going to find something that pedals easily non powered is a game changer( think tires and weight.)
Thanks for the suggestion. That looks like a good off-road option. However, the bike paths here in Vegas don't allow gas powered vehicles, including motorcycles, on the trails. Not trying to be an a$$ but maybe a Honda Trail 125 would be better suited to your needs.

Really an e-motorcycle with pedals, weighs 150lbs runs on motorcycle tires, can be run as a class 2 e-bike, 200 mile range and top speed unlocked 50mph. Can have either motorcycle seat or bicycle saddle.
I read an article about them a few years ago, they're made in Ukraine by a company who's main business was a courier service (Delfast) but they couldn't find an e-bike that met their needs so they started building their own and then they started selling them.Looks awesome!
Holy smack! That's awesome!I read an article about them a few years ago, they're made in Ukraine by a company who's main business was a courier service (Delfast) but they couldn't find an e-bike that met their needs so they started building their own and then they started selling them.
They hold the Guinness world record for an e-bike going 245mi on a charge. Obviously not going 50mph but still impressive.
the good thing is you may have long love affair with the bike before a need for propritary parts something to consider, the major bole shops in this region are well stocked with specialized bikes and I really don't see the need for bike mechanics on minor repairsI've known people to wait for months for Specialized parts and then the work had to be done at the dealer. Given our current import situation,(Specialized bikes are made in China and Taiwan) you would be throwing your money into a sinkhole, if you bought one, IMHO.
About the only way you'll find that bike is, you'll have to make it yourself, or find someone to build it for you..I need a bike I can do at least 80 miles round trip on the bike trails here in Nevada, on a single charge. I want quality. What do you recommend?
Illegal in NV, esp. on bike trails.Looks awesome!
Do you think that any people who buy Corvettes keep it under the speed limit at all times?Illegal in NV, esp. on bike trails.
If you were to hamstring it down to Class 2 levels, then you will have wasted about $3k of that $5500 price on performance you won't use.
It's like buying a Corvette for a city car.

I agree, but from my quick read of the NV law, it is a blanket ban on anything above Class 2, not that it is allowed on the street but not on a bike path. I could be wrong. It doesn't seem that way to me at all. Having an e-bike that can be used on trails as a level 2 e-bike and yet can be opened up for riding on city streets that can keep up with traffic would be the best of both worlds for a lot of people. The fact that it has more than twice the range of pretty much any other e-bike is pretty amazing, but yeah expensive huge Lithium ion battery packs aren't cheap.
Just because it can go fast doesn't mean that you have to to get the value of this bike, it's also about it's incredible range.
People are recommending a number of different e-bike here that don't have the range that the OP is asking for here. How many $2,500 e-bikes have a true range of 80 miles much less 200 miles.
Nice lines, but they went with form over function for the fenders...
You just described pretty much all my bikes lol.Nice lines, but they went with form over function for the fenders...
