wheel size from 20" to 22"?

Hi all I have seen on the internet that there are people changing the size in the control panel from 20" to 22"
The bike is a Engwe Engine Pro and has the 20"x4" tyres.
Does it make the bike quicker or more torquer or what are the advantages of this?

I have the same. question for Lectric 2.0. Tires are 3” x 20” and the setting is factory 22 in panel. I changed mine to get odometer to read closer to gps distance. I recently adjusted it to 25 in settings and came very close to gps readings. At 22 for example the trip meter on the bike read 4.5 and gps read 5.6 mile. I wonder why Lectric chose to set it @22. Does it affect the performance per your question? Anyone know the answer for either bike?
