Waterproofing wired cruiser/freedom

Hello fellows.
Winter is coming and with it wet weather.
I am wondering if anyone has any tips/guides for fully waterproofing the wired e bike.
Assume I know nothing.

I use this Permatex on my control box cover. I should also put it on my hub motor cover, but so far, I have been too lazy. It is waterproof, remains pliable and peels off if needed. I found it when I took apart a Jeep's clutch, it is what they used on all the covers to keep out debris and water. It's good stuff.
