Likely a problem with the contacts themselves or a loose wiring on the mount.

Hiya everyone, has anone had this problem? Volt Pulse LS Battery cutting out occasionally for no reason until removed then reinserted. New 2013 Model.

I don't have the same model bike, but when it happens to me, it means it needs a recharge, it happens every time after using the bike a couple of hours or less (when I go up on steep roads). When it happens does the indicator show a good charge; how long after charging the battery?

I have experienced this twice for no apparent reason

I have had this happen a couple of times on my 2023 PULSE when I first bought it and was doing longer rides but its been fine for about 6 months now, I am now doing shorter journeys though, but its not a problem at the moment, I have 2 batteries and it has never happened with the second battery, so that makes me wonder if its a battery issue ?

I purchased this bike as new about 6 months ago so it still well within the guarantee period . I considered it ine every respect an excellent purchase. However the two recent instances which have occurred when long riding in the Leicestershire Countryside. Battery cutting out rather worrying I am 86 years of age and would not be able to ride it without power. All though it was resolved on the ride by restarting it with the computer card. I paid £2500. for the bike and expect the issue to be resolved satisfactorily by the agent shop within the guarantee period. I will let fellow readers how I get on.

Re battery cutting out . I believe that my problem has been resolved . The South Wigston Cycle centre found tgat tge battery was not making the connection because it was not inserted to the very bottom of the casing.

I have since done a 25 miles journey it has not recurred. The South Wigston cycle shop told me to give them a ring if it recurs and they would pick me and they would pick me and the bike up…….
That’s what I call excellent service
