Is it possible a non/fake front fork was installed on a Velotric discover 1 from the factory? The manual says it has lockout and preload, bought this used for my wife, she doesn’t care if it moves or not, I do, my bike has lockout and preload adjustments, and moves up and down, Her’s doesn’t It’s just solid.

Where did you get this ebike? Was it from a shop or mailed from Velotric? I have their small cargo bike and it has an adjustable fork with lockout on the right and preload on the left. It should have it on the Discover1 and if your wife ever loads up the rack with heavy items, she would appreciate being able to lock it out to get rid of that floaty feeling.

Thanks, bought it from a private seller, at this point I’m going to disassemble the fork to see what’s going on.

My wife has a D1+ and it does have the lovkout and preload. Now the question is is the bike a Discover 1 or a Discover 1 Plus. I think the Discover 1 has it too but not sure.
