Don't believe them. I have three velotric e-bikes I have a problem with one of the batteries I've been talking to somebody named Christian He's asked for pictures and videos and some of the videos are very strange but I've sent them to him but then they keep asking me for more videos of the same thing. They obviously don't want to stand behind their bike and get me a battery. And these videos are asking for they want to see the charger plugged into the bike the charger working and showing the bikes fully charged I've sent them two videos. They've accepted the videos now they want more videos I've sent them pictures they've accepted the pictures. You go on their website and you go to accessories. And you click on batteries and chargers chose the batteries 349. And then when you click on buy now it's 399. They got to screwed up website. I would never buy a bike from them again we own three of their bikes. Worst customer service. If you want to talk to somebody in Malaysia and get screwed around. And get $2,000 into a bicycle by one from them otherwise save your money and find somebody else to buy it from that stands behind it.

Jesus Christ, I'm not asking for a new bike. I'd be happy if they sent me a used battery that was good or refurbished battery that was good. I've had other problems with the bike The front fenders that screw in the screws constantly come loose and they strip out. When I bought the bike I talked to the person on the phone I told him I needed a tall bike we bought the walkthrough bike and then I found out that the bike that has the bar across is a higher bike. It's taller, and customer service has no clue about that. I just bought a rear bag that goes on my rack it holds a battery there's no pictures of it online there's no reviews and then you talk to these people in Malaysia it's ridiculous. They know nothing about the bike how many millimeters or anything.

Christian I'm really angry and I'm going to post this everywhere I can. It's just a freaking battery. Now I have to think about this all weekend.

Sorry to hear about your problems, especially because I own a Velotric Discover 2 . I was having a bit of difficulty understanding some of your post, but it sounds like your battery is not performing as it should. I know that is a concern of mine, and I often wonder about batteries that come with bikes if they are brand new ones or ones that have been returned and are now being sent back out. I don't think this possibility would be unique to Velotric, I have a hard time trusting anybody nowadays with what they say and do. I just did a little documenting of my battery in my D2, and pretty much get 50 to 55 miles of range in the eco3 setting. Length and capability of battery power is so important on e-bikes, almost one of the most important things, you should be satisfied with the battery that was sold to you.

Thank you for your reply. We took the bike out on the levee today ( Florida Everglades National Park) using level 1 and 2 pedal assist. We did 28 miles, 14 each way. Started with 5 bars. When we finished at 28 miles, we had 3 bars left. I was using a battery I borrowed from a friend. Still waiting to hear from Velotric if the battery will be replaced. I also saw a YouTube video that you can add a battery with the balance kit for $65, and then buy an external battery. When my bike is out of warranty, I plan to do this.

Sounds interesting, I would like to learn more about this. The battery sure restricts the length of ride most of the time.
