Hi everyone,
I have a Crussis e-City 1.19 (2025) e-bike with an RM G010.250.D rear hub motor, 36 V system, and the stock KD59E LED panel (5-pin green UART connector).
This LED panel works fine, but it has a locked menu and no settings — I can’t change wheel size, speed limit, or other parameters. I’d really like to upgrade to a better LCD display (something like Bafang DP-C11, SW102, or similar) that would work plug-and-play with my existing controller.
Has anyone here successfully swapped the stock LED panel on a Crussis e-City 2025 (or similar Crussis models) for an LCD?
Which display models worked?
Did you have to change the controller?
Any firmware/protocol issues I should watch out for?
Any experiences, tips, or wiring diagrams would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
