TSDZ2 increasing lighting output power

I've just built a solid state relay units for my trek bike with a TSDZ2 motor, I used a double wheel speed sensor socket so that the lights could be switched on and off from the motor display. I managed to fit a very small 5amp fuse and fuse holder in the battery connector from which I took a supply, I am now running nice bright 48v I2 watt led lights, relay is mounted in a small plastic enclosure underneath the down tube.
