I Am 82 Yrs Old And Have Been Riding 2 Wheel Bikes All My Life Not Every Day But Almost.

My tthrottle control elec e-bike kit doesn't work all the time says frwd and rev on it but i dont get what you do they dont push in . The orange button engages but it kinda does whatever this only happens very infrequently. Anyone out there know do i push two at the same time?
