Purchased my bike 11 months ago, and with the original, I am on the 4th motor..
I am starting to hate this bike.. it leaves me stranded and i feel now it is v unreliable. Last motor lasted 520km (sorry but my slime lasts longer)
TQ replaces the motor without questions (it takes bn 1-2 weeks), Trek seems like not wanting to get involved.
As far as they are concerned, replacement is supplied so everything is dandy..
I would like to know what causes the failures but never get any answers.
I feel like i am sitting with a rotten egg, not sure what i am going to do once the warranty ends..
Can i ask for a bike replacement?
Based on this experience, i will never purchase another Trek

I'd certainly get a replacement bike at this point.

Do not drag it out any longer, if it were me.

After the second really, maybe after the third motor they would be required to send another ebike at that point...in my opinion.

Keep us posted as to the outcome of your situation there.

How should I go about it please? Never been in this situation before? Can’t afford anything else even if i sell this one (plus i would be passing sour lemon to someone else which is not fair, and the warranty would be voided).. so the only option is for Trek to come to the party.. will they?

Not sure what the retail $ price for Fuel EXE 9,7 is, I am in South Africa and paid close to 7000 US $.. blown my retirement fund and now so frustrated!
Expensive ebike

I honestly do not know. I am always my own warranty for everything.
