Chains & Gears TANGLED CHAIN

My e- bike chain got tangled and I could not fix it even after watching some you tube videos. Is any video or simple technique how to untangle it?
Where is it tangled? In the derailer? I would use a chain tool to split the chain open, and then pull it out, reroute it back to where it should be, then connect the ends back together. I use the Park brand chain tool, as it has a bigger lever and handle than the cheaper smaller ones.

But you should figure out why the chain got tangled, or else it will happen again. Were you shifting when it happened?

Take a pic before you remove the chain, and post it here.

If all else fails, get a tool to separate links (even Walmart sells them). Drive the pin out of the offending links, and re-assemble it once straight.

There cheap enough, so just replace it. The cheap chain on my rear hub, was a mere £8.00, the one on my mid drive a tad bit more expensive £24.00, both are kmc branded. If its simply a twisted chain, split it or unclip the quick link, I've had chains twist after taking them off & I know your frustration, but your get there, after all it started out straight

I am not sure that can happen while the chain is on the bike. I tried to duplicate it, without success. It looks like a KMC chain so should have a 'Quck Link' as in the attached picture/ you need to squeeze the links together (lengthwise) it should pop apart. Then just untangle and re link the chain. Maybe get a friend with some bike knowledge to help, if you are not familiar with this kind of work.
