Switch Plug wire

Hi:

I'm building my second ebike from not a kit and have run into an issue with the controller. It has a lone red wire k. labelled Switch Plug (must be connected) and my brother and I are wondering how do we connect this wire that must be connected.

We think it's switch related but there's only one wire and all the on/off switches are not one wire switches.

I've clipped a picture of the wiring harness, thanks for any info somebody throws our way.

yes it all makes sense except if you are to connect a switch to turn the control system on and off there is a wire he refers to as the 'voltage wire' and i don't know understand where that wire is located.

i really appreciate the help and i think i'm almost home.

I'd just connect it with the +Power red wire and be done with it.
But you can put a switch in between the two wires so you can turn the controller off from the battery.

HumanPerson must be correct. It is for switched power I believe.
