Has anyone with a specialized Creo had the motor disengage while pedaling as if there was no chain with the top tube display showing motor and battery on?
This has now been happening 3 to 4 times on my rides then re-engages as normal?

HI, I just recently hit 10k on my 2021 Creo E5, and it is doing what you describe. I thought at first that I lost the chain since there was suddenly no resistance, but the chain was still on. It is slipping more and more where I pedal slowly and can feel where if I give it a bit more torque it loses grip and the pedals spin without turning the chainring.
Since this is now happening daily, I carry a bunch of zip ties with me and when I can no longer ride I will zip tie the crank arm to the chain ring and turn motor off, so at least I can still ride it.

As a fellow Creo owner, this is all a little worrying… especially as it’s out of warranty I guess… is it worth asking Specialized? ( Concept stores here in UK)
Hope you can find an affordable fix/solution
Please keep us all posted if you find any information
Best of luck
Steve

Luckily my frame is cracked (I know, sounds odd) and I have a warranty claim in for that which was accepted. My replacement bike is supposedly a Creo 2 E5, but it was supposed to arrive Sept. 2024 to late Aug. but still no word. I'm very lucky they said they would cover it, and lucky I had a warranty, but kind of sad that doesn't make it easier to get to work.
My only other issue were the repeat chain drops, had zero after I switched to the Wolf Tooth chainring, and also had a chewed-up derailleur cable on the shifter side, but that was easy to replace due to the access panel in the bottom of the shifter.
