Spare Bosch battery

I am going on a long journey 600+ miles and think I need a spare battery just in case. I suspect some of the campsites may not have charging facilities. Can I get a 400wh battery with spacer to go into a 625 battery housing thus keeping the weight down. I am thinking of wrapping in neoprone to protect it.

You may be able to get a range extender kit from the company that provided the bike. It would include a battery, mount and cable. I would recommend having the dealer install it as there is a software install involved to assure the batteries are used and charged in the correct order, that’ll keep the warranty valid.

From what I could find out, the spacer will work going from the 625wh battery to the 500wh battery. EbikeParts says it will suit the 400, but elsewhere it says no, so, I would go with the 500wh battery if possible.
