Sony bike battery (F4W Peak)

Hi. Has anybody had anything to do with a Sony 36v bike battery which is now unavailable! It has 4 connections to the bike
I sent it to be refurbished but the company stated that the 2 middle connections are not needed! However the bike will not work without the 2 middle connections! The battery repair company has now refused to go any further!!
Has anybody had problems with this type of battery?

The battery has Sony cells but its configuration has been set up by F4W Peak. Someone on Pedelecs referenced having the same problem. There is a site in the UK called Urban Movers. They still list parts for your ebike. Have you spoken with them? They show a two pronged adapter plug you can buy.They might know what you actually have to do to get it to function without the secondary wires.
