Installed fully charged battery and display won't turn on...checked battery fuse and all connections...bike sat outside for 2 days. Forgot to turn battery off and now it won't turn on

Have you got a multimeter so you can check the batteries actual voltage? A fully charged 48v battery should be sitting at around 54.6. Also, was it out in the rain we had this past weekend?

Battery is ok...looked at controller and nothing looks burned ..it was out in a light rain for about half an hour, but I put it away... turned off display, but forgot to turn off battery...went to go to the store and now it won't power up

I don't really know your battery. Does it have charge lights or a red side switch? The plus and minus should be marked at the connection points. What charge does it have? If you unplug your display, do you have 5 volts at the plug coming from the wiring harness? I've had wet displays fog up and have had to bring them in the house to go over them with a hair dryer, but first you need to know whether any power is getting to it.

Water ingress, through rain or condensation in a display and most controllers, will wreak havoc on the electrical components.

OK, I've been doing a little digging here. I think I'm goofing up just giving you the reference voltage. From what I can find you have a SW900 display. With your multimeter on the red and black pins on the green plug in the harness you should have 48v. There is a YouTube video, "Testing Your Ebike Display". I'm going to post some pictures here of the pinout and of the JST plug colors so you can do more testing at the controller and also test for continuity. Just to make things more confusing, the SW900 has a 5 pin and a 6 pin model, so you will have to check. Sw900 displays are notorious for being programmed differently amongst many different ebike companies, so, if it is the controller or the display, or both, I suggest you buy them from Senada. Luckily, people on Amazon think they actually have a good customer service dept. and their website does list the parts. You also do really need to know if your battery is at 54.6 volts. The display pinout maybe different than yours and the Chinese in the Amazon diagram is where the notch is located. Let us know what you've learned. Here are the pics I found:

Thank you so much...I am getting 54 volts at the battery, and I'll test the voltage at the display connection...it is the 5 pin model...I also get 54 volts going into the controller,so I'll test continuity for the display wires...they disconnect at the controller,so that will be easy enough...the horn doesn't work with battery on... someone randomly said to check it. I have emailed senada, and waiting to hear back.

You're welcome. The horn thing is odd. Does your horn run through the pad buttons for the display, if so that may be where your short is located. SW900's have been known to just die, so that may also be where your trouble lies. Let us know what happens and good luck.

Well,I ordered and installed a new display...still nothing...senada tech said that was the problem, but it's obviously not...emails have been a week between answers...I also checked the fuse in the battery and it's good .. I'm lost...this bike is my only means of transportation

Water ingress, somewhere....

Sometimes condensation will cause problems within the Display and the Controller.

and if it happened to get condensation inside the battery housing, well, that could cause cell group problems among other probs.

I have an extra SW900 display if you would like to get another controller you can have this sw900 display, which is in
working order.

Thank you...I already bought a new one and it didn't solve the problem... checking wiring now,and sent another email to senada informing them that new display didn't solve the issue

Maybe it's time to get a KT controller and KT display and program them yourself. Aliexpress has lowered their tariffs. Area 13 has a video on how they are programmed. I just gave up on one of my bike's and put in an order for a KT kit. Sometimes it's best to just start over and completely ignore the problem you were sent.
