Seeking Assistance: Unlocking Speed on 2025 Engwe M20 (EU Model)

If you buy a display from somewhere else you will also have to buy a new controller to match it, or it will not run. You will need to match your motor plug and the plug setup on your old controller. You can go to a julet style plug, but then you will also have to replace your wiring harness and other accessories. By far, your cheapest way out of this is to buy the old unit from Engwe. I looked at Amazon in Spain and I don't see anything there that will help you. If you want to change everything over, you can start looking at Aliexpress, but you will be in for a lot of DIY. I picked up a cheap Engwe in the winter and I'm in the middle of rewiring the entire ebike, just to have the settings I need, there really is not much else you can do.

I know about this because I accidentally bought an Engwe L20 Boost from them. I was told by Engwe that as a result, should anything go wrong I would have to pay for replacement parts which would normally be sent out for free under guarantee, and additionally I would have been able to use a discount code when I purchased the bike so I would have paid less for it. I tried to cancel the order, but these scammers wanted a €200 cancellation fee. I ended up reluctantly accepting the bike but I was not happy about being duped.
