rear hub motor ebike problem. help...

hi all,

i having trobble with my ebike.
the hub motor works quietly but when im in full stop , i have to roll the wheell in opposite direction in order to make it start and work. some one maybe know what the problem can be?

That is baffling.
Coincidently, I have had similar situations with my petro powered truck. A few times, i have needed to roll my truck just a bit backward or forward before it would start.

Hey, maybe you could give some information about what type of motor you have, how old, DD or geared, brand name, XIONGDA by any chance, sensorless controller?

Describe the number of wires or pins on the connector to the motor, only time I have heard of anything similar was on older sensorless motors.

Otherwise, with no information whatsoever other than "hub motor", not likely an answer will be forthcoming other than a lucky guess.

Did it ever work correctly, if so, what happened in between the time it DID work, and the time when it did NOT?
