Problem with Bafang

Hi. My Bafang controller did not come on this morning and when I rolled my bike back there was a fair bit of resistance.

I turned my battery off and on and when it came on there was a squealing sound in the mid drive motor and lots of heat was being produced on the cog side.

I quickly turned it off again and unplugged the battery.

I then removed the battery and checked all the connections.

All connections seem fine and the bike has been going ok since I kitted it only 200km ago.

Any suggestions on troubleshooting?
