Hey guys, got a question.
I have the Eskute Spark X and the bike is giving me nothing but trouble atm.
Every time i ride the bike 1-2 miles everything goes fine and i can ride it full power (unlocked).
After 1-2 miles the power stops and is limited to about half and max 13mph, pedal assist or throttle does pretty much nothing anymore.
You can feel it trying to bump 1-2mph but than cuts off.
Even pushing as hard as i can on the peddals, the bike will not let me go above 15mph.
And if i lift the back wheel of the ground and throttle the bike goes full power, but as soon i ride on it back to the same problem.
Stock 750w (sutto) bafang hub motor and 11A controller.
Off course i emailed Eskute support but that's like talking to my dog, 10 mails in and they still keep sending me basic responses that have nothing to do with my questions or problem.
Maybe a controller or PAS problem?
Buying a new controller is pretty cheap but finding an after market controller with the required red L1121 motor cable plug is very difficult.

This sounds like a familiar road. 11 amps is much too small for a 750 watt motor. Could you give us the complete stats on your controller? It truly sounds like you are over heating.

I have an idea for you. Eskute has a separate customer service for England. People having trouble with Engwes did much better going through the UK service center then through the main website. Eskute also has one for Germany. You are from Belgium, so you probably speak many more languages then I do. If you Google them by specific countries they should come up, then you can try their chat box. I'll post the UK pic here, so you have their UK email. If you are under warranty, they may owe you a new controller.

This is all the info marked on the controller box:
Rated Voltage: 48v
Maximum current: 22+-1A
Rated current: 11A
Low voltage protection: 39V

Oh, OK. It's what we would call a 22 amp controller, that should be all right, although it does sound like it is no longer working properly. If you do have to buy a controller it will need to match your display, but you should be able to get an adapter cable for the motor plug differences. I'm not sure of your setup but, Affordable Ebikes in Canada may have what you need. This is an adapter that would fit more standard controllers. See what you think.
