Please Don't buy a Jasion Ebike

I ordered a Jasion X-hunter Ebike on oct 1, 2024 Then surprise I Got it 3 days later. Yay!!
I put it together just like all the videos and instruction but this bike was Defective and missing the fender, The seat post does not stay up at all so can't ride it. kick stand fell off. and the motor AND Brakes makes a lot of noise.
I immediately called them and got nowhere. sent an email the response is so sorry, the part is on back order here is an accessory in good faith (if I wanted it I would have bought it). Scratches on many of the handles and other parts.
Clearly they sent this out Knowing the parts were not there, or it was a refurbished bike sold as new.
But it does me no good on a bike I can't ride. It is now Oct 29th and they Say they sent a bunch of parts. and hopefully the right parts last week they were still on the way as of today. I have to figure it out and pay a bike shop to fix it. they won't refund or replace it there is no warranty with this company. Now that the season is over I still have a useless piece of metal And can not ride this $1000 bike. If I return it I have to pay shipping and they say there is a restock fee. I can understand If I just didn't want it. but I do And If I send it back I don't believe they will return my money. I'm handicapped on a fixed income I can't just go buy another one. what can I do? Law suite cost is more than the bike This has been the worse purchase I have ever made.
 
Well, Jasion does have a 1 year warranty but it appears to be a joke. Brakes, rotors and most moving parts are not covered. What truly worries me is that the motor is not covered, or mentioned, if it is making a noise someone needs to look at it before you ride anywhere. Have you looked into the Michigan ebike rebate program? That would give you some money back from your purchase that would help defray costs. I'll post what I found here. People think well of Eze-bikes ebike shop south of you. Perhaps you could talk to them on the phone and ask what they would charge to go over the bike. Ironically, your frame is warrantied, so it is probably a decent frame. Ebikes are a compilation of components, so piece by piece they can be fixed. I'm sorry this happened to you. I hope you can find a way through to a working bike. Let us know how it goes.

The Part came in but they sent the same thing. it doesn't work. they say it will but it clearly don't
I just took it to a local bike shop and they said what they sent you isn't even close to what you need.
But they won't send what ever it is I need b/c they say they already did.
This company Jasion is nothing but a scam!
 
Their BBB rating is an F, not that this helps you any at this point. Hope you get your bike rolling.

Dispute it with your credit card company to get your money back.

You might throw yourself on the mercy of the local bike shop, but I doubt they'll want to work on it. If they do, they'll charge handsomely and won't make any guarantees.
 
I bought one Jasion e-bike last Sep, mostly just looking for something to get me to work and back without too much fuss. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much — I’d already been through two other e-bikes before this. One had battery problems that never seemed to end, and the other was just a constant maintenance headache.
My commute’s about 8 miles round trip, so I needed something reliable. Almost a year later, I can say this one’s held up better than I thought it would. The only hiccup I’ve had was a tire blowout mid-ride, but Jasion’s customer service was actually super responsive and got me sorted out quickly.
These days, I’m charging it maybe 1-2 times a week. The brakes still feel strong, and everything works pretty much like it did on day one — no big repairs, no weird noises, no surprises. It’s not perfect (nothing is), but for the price and how it’s performed, I’ve been really happy with it. Honestly, I was skeptical when I ordered it, but now I’m glad I gave it a shot.
 
Wow, I’m really sorry you’ve had to go through all this. You shouldn’t have to chase parts, pay a shop out of pocket, or argue with a company just to make a $1,000 bike rideable.

It's a jungle out there, especially with so many outfits selling them. The more you know about bikes, the better!
 
It seems as though a lot of these manufacturers have become a crap shoot - can only say I did the best research I possibly could before purchasing - I feel very fortunate but am sorry for those who have had bad experiences… it’s not money you want to lose, esp if you did research also - it’s terrible - I hate seeing ppl get ripped off

When it showed up, they expected me to be a bike mechanic and get the new motor and wheel installed. It was not easy, but got it done, and it still did not work. I reached out to Jasion Bike again and they said it may be the controller so they sent me one of those. Miraculously it was in stock and I figured out how to install it but again, the bike does not work. They keep trying to send me little parts and pieces to fix this bike that is clearly not working. So I asked for them to send me a new bike and I would return the broken one. Their response "we are sorry you are outside of your return window". I am only outside of the return window because the bikes and the motor arrived late and they have been sending me down a rabbit hole trying to fix it myself. DO NOT BUY A BIKE FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE TERRIBLE AND SCAM ARTISTS. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

This is why I am glad I did a little research before buying the Lectric Brand. All the brands have a lot of interesting bikes, some with more features than others. While Lectric isn't perfect, their customer service, from my research, is one of the more responsive companies to warranty issues.

If you don't want the hassle of dealing with mail order and stuff, then find a bike at a local bike shop. The costs are more, but the hassle if there is a problem is easier to resolve when you can visit the problem area. Otherwise, read Smaug's Message for Newbies and chose a higher tier bike because of the support, not the features.

I have found it’s wise to buy from a local dealer rather than online. The cost tends to be higher, but local dealers usually fix broken things. Also, online scam artists are very good at posting sales that appear genuine , even to the point of saying « delivered ».
