Hello, I'm Dinu, new here. I have an ebike fat tires with a Bafang rear hub motor (photo). Unfortunately I broke the pedal assistant sensor when the chain went off. I could not find a replacement so far. I tried a couple of sensors which look like this, but no compatibility. I guess it needs to be for this series of Bafang motor? Is somebody who can give me an advise where to find (buy) this kind of sensor? Thank you,Dinu.

Not sure if you're still looking for a replacement PAS. It's compatibility with the controller that's important, not the motor. And as they are pretty simply devices I'm surprised the ones you tried didn't work. I would be checking the plug wiring is compatible. You may need to swap the wires in the connector of the new PAS around to match the existing plug from the controller. The wires can be 'clicked' out of the connector with a fine bit of stiff wire.
Stores on Aliexpress have a large selection of PAS, you should be able to find one that works there. The style doesn't need to be identical to the old, only if it can be fitted as there are different types.
P.S. You will likely need to ensure the programming in the controller of the number of PAS magnets matches any new PAS used.
